Bushmills SHERRY CASK Reserve The Steamship Collection is a characterful single malt Irish whisky, bottled at 40 per cent in a generous 1-litre bottle. This release is part of the Steamship Collection from the historic Old Bushmills Distillery in Northern Ireland. The range pays homage to the SS Bushmills, the distillery’s own steamship, which was used for international trade from the late 19th century onwards. For the Sherry Cask Reserve, Bushmills relies on its signature triple distillation and intensive cask maturation, in which first-fill Oloroso sherry butts play a central role. The large-format sherry casks leave a lasting mark on the whisky, lending it additional depth and a distinctly fruity character.
With the Bushmills Sherry Cask Reserve, the distillery combines its long tradition of Irish whisky production with the distinct influence of Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.
