The blend was developed by Master Blender Emma Walker, who, together with her team, has created a style that emphasises vanilla sweetness, soft caramel notes and a gentle oak structure. In contrast to the spicier and slightly smoky style of the classic Red Label, the Red Soul whisky deliberately avoids smoky notes, resulting in a particularly rounded, smooth and approachable flavour.
For this Blended Scotch Whisky, Johnnie Walker draws on its extensive cask reserves from various Scottish distilleries, which are combined to create a harmonious blend.
