Baron-Fuenté GRANDE RÉSERVE Champagne Demi-Sec 12% Vol. 0,75l
£31.12
The Baron-Fuenté GRANDE RÉSERVE Demi-Sec is a Champagne Demi-Sec full of character that authentically reflects the Champagne terroir of the Vallée de la Marne to Charly-sur-Marne. Produced by the traditional house of Baron-Fuenté, this cuvée combines elegance, richness and a finely balanced dosage that appeals to connoisseurs with a preference for harmoniously rounded champagnes. The balanced blend of the three classic grape varieties gives the Grander Réserve Demi-Sec its special individuality and depth.
The cuvée of 60% Meunier, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir comes from reasoned viticulture and is cold-pressed immediately after the harvest. Vinification in stainless steel tanks preserves freshness and precision, while the three-year ageing period in the cellars gives the champagne structure, creaminess and aromatic complexity. At 12% vol., this Champagne Demi-Sec is soft, round and balanced without losing any of its freshness. The recommended serving temperature of 8°C to 10°C ensures that the multi-layered flavours of this French champagne develop to their full potential.
Tasting NoteIn the glass, the Baron-Fuenté GRANDE RÉSERVE Demi-Sec has a deep golden colour with a dense, lively perlage and creamy foam. The nose reveals a complex, soft bouquet with floral notes of brioche honey and yellow and white fruits. On the palate, the champagne is harmoniously smooth and round with a full-bodied structure. The finish is finely toasty, balanced and long-lasting.
Residual sugar: 35 g/litre
The Baron-Fuenté GRANDE RÉSERVE Demi-Sec is an ideal champagne for desserts and gourmet snacks. This Demi-Sec champagne harmonises particularly well with patisserie, fruit tarts, crème desserts, pastries, brioche or almond and honey desserts. It also goes well with sweet and savoury aperitifs, foie gras, mature cheese or savoury snacks, where its gentle sweetness provides balance. This Champagne Demi-Sec is ideal for enjoyable afternoons, festive occasions and all moments when a full-bodied, finely dosed champagne is required.
