Goldenits Robert Sparkling Rosé 12% Vol. 0,75l
£11.45
Weingut Goldenits Robert is located in Tadten, nestled in the large Heideboden vineyard. This region to the east of Lake Neusiedl benefits from the Pannonian climate, which offers ideal conditions for growing highly ripe grapes. As a traditional family business, the winery cultivates 35 hectares of vineyards. Red wine accounts for 75% of the area under cultivation, while the remaining 25% is reserved for white wine.
Goldenits Robert Sparkling Rosé is a carefully composed cuvée from the Blaufränkisch and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties. The grapes for this elegant rosé come from 12 to 40-year-old vines that grow on sandy black earth soils with a medium to high stone content as well as gravel soils. The grapes were carefully harvested by hand in October 2021 to ensure optimal ripeness. This was followed by temperature-controlled fermentation, which perfectly brings out the fresh flavours and fine structure of the wine. Ageing in stainless steel tanks emphasises the clarity and freshness of the rosé. The wine was finally bottled on 26 May 2021 and sealed with a screw cap.
Tasting NoteRosé in the glass. On the nose, it is dry and decidedly fruity, with intense aromas of raspberries and strawberries. The palate is tangy with a fruity structure accompanied by fine yeast notes. Long-lasting and charming on the finish.
Acidity: 7.1 g/l
Residual sugar: 27 g/l
Drinking temperature: 7 °C
An excellent accompaniment to light, light-coloured dishes and fresh salads, also ideal as an aperitif.
