The Cordero di Montezemolo family estate is located in the picturesque Langhe region of Piedmont in northern Italy. The family cultivates a total of 38 hectares of organically certified vineyards, from which 11 high-quality DOC wines are produced. One of the winery’s hallmarks is its winemaking, which is carried out exclusively with minimal wood ageing in order to preserve the purity and character of the grapes.
Cordero di Montezemolo MONFALLETTO Barolo is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. These noble grapes are matured in barriques for 24 months before the wine is bottled and sealed with a natural cork. The Barolo has an impressive ageing potential of around 20 years, making it a valuable wine for connoisseurs.

Tasting NoteDark ruby-garnet colour in the glass. Aromas of wild raspberries, sour cherries, roasted cocoa beans, dark tobacco and rosemary on the nose. Taut, fruity on the palate with notes of ripe wild cherries, herbs and robust tannins. Juicy, savoury and elegant on the finish.
