Château Mont-Redon is one of the most renowned wine estates in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region and looks back on a long tradition dating back to 1344. Since 1923, the estate has been owned by the Abeille and Fabre family, who are committed to sustainable viticulture and high quality standards. The vineyards cover 186 hectares and are characterised by the famous pebbly soils (“galets roulés”), which provide the vines with ideal growing conditions. Château Mont-Redon cultivates a variety of traditional grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre.

The Châteauneuf-du-Pape cuvée from Château Mont-Redon is the flagship of the estate and represents the best of the region. Careful manual labour in the vineyard, such as pruning and harvesting, guarantees the quality of each vine and expresses the pure identity of the terroir. The cuvée consists mainly of Grenache Noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre, supplemented by other regional grape varieties. The wine develops fruity and slightly roasted flavours from the third year onwards, reaches its full maturity between the fifth and eighth year and can be enjoyed for even longer if stored well.
