Regele Gelber Muskateller Orange 2020 11,5% Vol. 0,75l

£28.00

The Regele Gelber Muskateller Orange 2020 is a unique orange wine from southern Styria that combines the aromatic expressiveness of Gelber Muskateller with traditional amphora ageing. Made from 100% Gelber Muskateller, the grapes come from the renowned Oberglanzberg vineyard, whose soils are characterised by minerality. This site gives the wine its distinctive depth and finesse.

Vinification is carried out according to the old artisan tradition: the whole grapes are fermented in the amphora for 6 months and then gently pressed. The wine is then cooled in stainless steel tanks for a further two years before being bottled. This process gives it structure, fine tannins and an aromatic complexity that goes far beyond the classic Muscat profile. With an alcohol content of 11.5% vol., the Gelber Muskateller Orange 2020 is a finesse-rich wine for connoisseurs who appreciate special styles.

Tasting NoteIn the glass, the Regele Gelber Muskateller Orange 2020 is a light yellow colour with golden-green reflections. Characteristic muscat aromas unfold on the nose, complemented by notes of fresh herbs, black tea and a fine spiciness. It is dry on the palate, with a delicate texture, full body and compact, grapey fruit. The finish is long, elegant and aromatically complex.

Residual sugar: 1.1 g/l

This Orange Wine from the Oberglanzberg vineyard is ideal as an aperitif for connoisseurs, but also goes well with spicy starters, Asian dishes, grilled vegetables or aromatic fish dishes. It is also an exciting accompaniment to mature cheese. At a serving temperature of 13-16 °C, it unfolds its full diversity and is a wine for special moments of pleasure.
