Ramos Pinto Adriano Porto Reserva 19,5% Vol. 0,75l in gift box
£27.65
The Ramos Pinto Adriano Porto Reserva is a high-quality port wine from the traditional Ramos Pinto company, which has stood for excellent quality and wines with a strong character since it was founded in 1880. Named after the company’s founder, Adriano Ramos Pinto, this Reserva Port is a tribute to the pioneering work and innovative spirit with which the brand is still closely associated today.
Adriano Reserva is a balanced Ruby Port with Reserva quality, which means that it matures for at least six years in wooden barrels – significantly longer than classic Ruby Ports. This longer maturation period gives it a special depth, complexity and a harmonious combination of fruit and wood. The grapes come from the best vineyards in the Douro Valley and are vinified using traditional methods. The wine matures in oak barrels before being bottled.
With an alcohol content of 19.5% vol., Adriano Porto Reserva is a powerful, elegant dessert wine that is a perfect choice for connoisseurs or as a gift, both in the high-quality 0.75 litre bottle and in the stylish gift box.
Tasting NoteIn the glass, the Ramos Pinto Adriano Porto Reserva presents itself in a deep ruby red colour with brick-red reflections that indicate its ageing in wood. The nose reveals intense aromas of ripe red fruit, dark cherries, figs and plums, combined with elegant notes of vanilla, cocoa, dried herbs and a fine spiciness. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with well-integrated tannins, fine sweetness and a balanced structure. The finish is long, warm and aromatic with lingering fruit flavours.
Acidity: 3.95 g/l
Residual sugar: 101 g/l
Adriano Porto Reserva is an excellent accompaniment to mature cheeses (e.g. Stilton, Manchego, blue mould), dark chocolate, nut desserts or dried fruit. It also cuts an elegant figure with classic Portuguese desserts or at the end of a festive menu. It can be served slightly chilled (approx. 14-16 °C) and is also ideal as a meditation wine for quiet moments of enjoyment. The elegant gift packaging also makes it a stylish present for special occasions – a piece of Portuguese wine culture in perfect balance between tradition and enjoyment.
