The Weinhof Szemes SUZY WONG 2023 11% Vol. 0.75 l is a lively and modern rosé sparkling wine from southern Burgenland that combines the mineral characteristics of the Eisenberg with fruity freshness and a fine perlage. Produced by Weinhof Szemes, this wine is one of the winery’s first projects with grapes from the Saybritz vineyard on the Eisenberg. Only perfectly ripened Blauburger and Zweigelt grapes are used for this Austrian rosé sparkling wine, which give the wine its expressive fruit and elegant structure.
Fermentation takes place in a 1000-litre stainless steel tank, which ensures that the fresh and clear aromas are optimally preserved. The wine is then left to mature on the lees for around 6 to 8 months before being bottled fresh and fruity. The soils of slate, clay and rocky brown earth give this sparkling wine from Austria a fine minerality and elegant tension. With 11% alcohol by volume, SUZY WONG is light, lively and versatile. The combination of lively fruit, fine perlage and mineral structure makes this rosé sparkling wine a modern and uncomplicated pleasure wine for numerous occasions.
